THE BROTHERHOOD OF SAINT ANDREW

May 14, 2016

The meeting was called to order by the Vice Director, Lance Churchill, at 10:00 A.M. at the Old Episcopal Burying Ground. Attending were Alex Chapman, Lance Churchill, Tom Crehore, Guy Ellis, Maner Fe rguson, David Jaquith, Frank Kibler, Ron Parkey, John Perrine, Sky Robinson, Paul Roscoe, Tom Sturgill, and Win Underwood.

OLD BUSINESS
Fish Fries
There were six cases, each containing four bags, of hush puppies which were not used for the fish fries a nd they are for sale if anyone wants them.

Old Episcopal Burying Ground
A work day for clean up is scheduled for the OEBG next Saturday, May 21 at 8:30 AM, weather permitting.

NEW BUSINESS
The Brotherhood is cooking breakfast for the Presiding Bishop s visit tomorrow.

The Brotherhood is planning on building more shelves for the Godly Play Sunday School rooms, replacing make shift shelves which are being used now formed with 1 X10 boards and concrete blocks. The new shelves should be more attractive a nd more closely meet the design of the Godly Play guide book. Maner Ferguson moved that Lance Churchill and John Perrine be authorized to purchase any materials necessary to complete the project. David Jaquith seconded the motion and it passed. Hopefull y these will be completed prior to the start of classes in the fall.

FINANCIAL REPORT
We have $1228.07 balance in our bank account.

LAMBETH STUDY
The Lambeth Study was from John 14:8-17, 25 and 27, and a discussion followed.

After the closing prayers, we dismissed at 11:00 A.M.
