Meeting Minutes
August 14, 2021

Gathering began shortly before 10:00am in person in the Old Episcopal Burying Ground lodge. The meeting was called to order at approximately10:10am by Jim Ware In attendance: Jim Ware, Ken Kikuchi, Guy Ellis, Lyon Bradbury, John Kuzmik, Sky Robinson, Tom Crehore, Maner Ferguson, Greg Graf, Paul Roscoe, and Dan Dorsett

We enjoyed fellowship time. A few pastoral concerns were shared.

Chapter Director Jim gave and update on Rally Day, Sunday, September 5, the kickoff to a full program of fall activities. The Brotherhood is on standby to serve as the breakfast team. There is uncertainty about whether breakfast is feasible and safe given the increase in Covid cases in our county. A decision will be made closer to September 5.

Len Cox sent word that he would help coordinate the volunteers for breakfast. We will go forward assuming we will do the breakfast; easier to pull the plug than to scramble at the last minute for volunteers.

Len Cox also sent a reminder that the next vaccination clinics are scheduled for August 19 and September 9 in the Great Hall. Len has asked Wild Health for more dates as we move toward fall.

Treasurer Dan reported that our available balance is $214.02.

Jim led us in study of this week’s Gospel, John 6:51-58, using both NRSV and The Message versions.

Next meeting: 10:00am September 11, 2021.
